I was bored and came across this.

BUF (4-8) 23
Final
MIA (5-7) 24

Even in the late-afternoon shadows covering the end zone, Chris Chambers was easy to spot, leaping to make the reception that capped the best day of his NFL career and the Miami Dolphins' biggest comeback victory since 1974.

It was over when ... Chris Chambers caught a 4-yard pass from Sage Rosenfels on fourth down with six seconds left for the winning score. Miami rallied from deficits of 21-0 and 23-3 to win its second straight.

Game ball goes to ... Rosenfels, who entered the game in the third quarter when starter Gus Frerotte went down with a concussion and directed fourth-quarter TD drives of 70, 49 and 73 yards.

Alas, only 25,000 fans remained from the announced crowd of 72,051 when the Dolphins began their final march with 1:51 left trailing 23-17

4TH Quarter:

Ricky Williams, 5 yd run (Olindo Mare kick is good)Drive info: 10 plays, 56 yds, 2:13

Ronnie Brown, 23 yd pass from Sage Rosenfels (Olindo Mare kick is good)Drive info: 9 plays, 49 yds, 2:09

Chris Chambers, 4 yd pass from Sage Rosenfels (Olindo Mare kick is good)Drive info: 11 plays, 73 yds, 1:45

I remember jumping up and down, shouting in triumph in front of my TV, when Chambers caught the game-winning TD. I landed awkwardly on my foot during one of the jumps, but I was too excited to care :sidelol:

I remember whatching that game and I was soo happy when the Dolphins came back and won.

Remember the Shobel interception? I remember seeing Randy McMichael looking like he was going to tear off Rosenfel's head and I felt the same way. I was thinking, "this is just our luck, of course our miracle run would be upended this way." Then, the defense got the stop, Chambers went nuts, and the rest is history. One of the top 5 performances by a Miami Dolphin ever!

the ronnie brown 23 yard pass was amazing to watch, him leaping over the defender (<-- avatar)

that was a great day to be a dol-fan (that and I had Chambers playing in that game in my FF league!! talk about luck!)

only 25,000 fans left in the stadium, that is disgraceful.

The Dolphins were down 23-3 in the 4th quarter and had played AWFUL the entire game to that point.

It was arguably their worst showing of the season. Worse than Cleveland because it was at home. The offensive line was atrocious, getting Gus Frerotte knocked unconcsious in his own endzone for a safety. The commentator said the Dolphins looked worse than a high school team, and he was right. They were flat out terrible. Lee Evans caught three TDs in the first quarter, two of which were bombs. And if not for a Sam Madison INT at the goalline late in the 3rd (on a long Buffalo drive following the safety), we'd have gone down 30-3.

I'm not one to leave a game early. But I might well have done it that day. I still have that game on tape and watch it every few weeks. The things we did that day were just pitiful. Even in coming back, we were still dropping easy passes. I think most fans that left were angry, and they had every reason to be.

i spose but still u would expect to stay around at least a bit of the way in to the 4th quater before deciding we had no chance at coming back which we did.

Amazing win....
One of my favorite wins since 2004...orange jersey game, beating the pats with brady throwin 4 int's...Feeley to Thompson for the winning TD
21-0 win vs the pats 2006
31-13 win vs. Bears 2006
2005 season opening win vs. Broncos

i got kicked out of a bar in jacksonville because some Bills fans thought they could give me a hard time and get away with it... I listened to the last half of the game in a park over the radio. I was jumping all over the place...

i remember being in the bar with my brother and he was like this games over, i was like **** that, we can still win (im the eternal optimist when it comes to the dolphins)... and after the ronnie TD he started to believe too... i remember going nuts when he caught that, then thinking we were gonna somehow **** up the PAT, or that the bills would return the last kickoff at the end for a TD... but i gave a bunch of the bills fans there some **** afterwards cause they were all happy and talking smack earlier... that was a great win...

I was at this game. Me and my friend snuck down from our nose bleed seats to the endzone at the beginning of the 4th QTR. It was easy, as a lot of people had left already. We had an awesome view and saw Chambers make the TD catch right in front of us. We went crazy! After the game we kept the party rollin in the parking lot until the cops made us leave. Awesome game!

i was there. my dad wanted to leave with like 10 minutes left in the 4th but i made him stay. It was the ebst game ever!

Smart thinkin!.... must have been awesome to watch Chambers grab that catch. Watching the time tick off the clock and just leap for that catch....I was just dying watching it on tv. Go Fins!
