After we destroy the Jills and Denver loses their next game, we're basically in the playoffs right? If Tannehill can play against the Pats, do we play him or let him rest for the playoffs?

I think we should let Matt Moore play. He would've won 3 in a row when we play the Pats.
 
Rest him. Probably even for the playoffs, as much as I wish he could play. Gotta be smart about it. Some are speculating he made need surgery after all as well. Who knows?
 
If that happens my inactives vs the Pats are:

Wake
Suh
Landry
Ajayi
Albert
Tunsil
Tannehill

Although some would argue a win would get us to Houston which gives us a better shot at advancing.

If we win against Buffalo this is a good problem to consider. However, Don't let up. If getting us to Houston is a real possibility then you play to win. This team has been in playoff mode since Week 5. There is no half way with this team. Keep Tannehill on the bench and let Moore start.
 
Tennessee will win the division over Houston. Tennessee is a much better team IMP. Would still rather go to Tenn than Pitt

Yeah i was thinking they would be the most desirable team to play - although our track record against inexperienced QBs always scares me!
 
Even IF we make the playoffs, I highly doubt they will stroll RT out there. Hes still in a full legged cast and not knowing if he needs surgery yet. If this was week 4 or something then I would think different. But I just dont see him playing this year, even with the better than initially thought diagnosis.
 
I rest our players, especially Matt Moore! It only takes one play, ask tannehill. After Moore the talent drop off is big.
 
Tannehill is done for the year
He may be gone next year too depending on if he needs surgery.
He did not completely tear his ligaments but he has partial tears.
His legs in a cast which means the muscles atrophy.
Enjoy Matt Moore for the rest of the year and maybe a good portion of next season too.

Two things....

I wouldn't play RT again this year unless he was 100% ready....which I doubt will happen.

Also, if we are fortunate enough to beat Buffalo and get into the playoffs, I would not rest anybody week 17. I don't believe in that mentality and I've seen it backfire more than be successful.

Play to win every week.
 
You rest Tannehill. This is why we are paying Matt Moore good money to be RT's backup. We could have gone with a bargain basement clip board holder, but Moore is a pro. Let him do his job to close out the regular season. It sounds like Tanny's knee wont be in good enough shape for him toi play anyway, and the future with him is more important than anything other than a serous playoff run.
 
Tannehill won't play this year but i'd bet he'll be ready to go next year. You would think if surgery is pending he would have done it asap so that is promising.
 
It is funny reading people stating crap like 'Tannehill is done for the year' or 'Tannehill will need surgery' as if they know what they write is true. It's all BS and and all baseless opinions.
