Ok guys, every one wants to know what kind of ability Saban has as a coach and talent evaluator. Well I think with the 2nd pick in the draft when everyone thinks it will be Edwards,we take Brown. Well this shows how little the media or the fans knew about what Saban wanted. Three RB'S in the first 5 picks, first time ever in the modern era! We get R.Brown :D ....this is a kicK-a** choice, and I'll tell you why. He is the most physical and versitile back, and has taken far less abuse then Benson, Brown has the best hands. Anyone remember Ricky!?!?! I don't. We have a coach in his first year and we now have a back with major potential to be a franchise back. All of the teams drafting a back taken in the first 5,would have also taken brown first. Saban hasn't coahced a down yet, and his side by side thinking with a SB winning coach and a Bear team that lives to run the ball shows Nick is up to speed in this league IMO. I will love whomever the Dolphins select next.

Probably the title of your thread, not much deep thinking here on a day to day basis :D however I think that you are right, Brown is an excellent pick and was for our team the best back to have, he can block, catch out of the backfield and he is a damn good runner. I am psyched to see what Saban brings up next and for the Training camps to start!
