Defense Average Age Per Teams in NFL

I don't have a problem with your post and I understand that you are posting last years starters. But if the point is that we need to get younger, than I would say, we have done that and are continuing to do so. I don't think the age of the defense is a concern. A couple of years ago, it was a different story.

i also agree that our D is good and getting younger. We just need to get a few people in place to replace ZT and JT before they retire. not saying in this draft but in the next few years. i think JT and ZT still have a feww great years ahead of them but why not get someone to learn from them while they are still around

If we end up drafting DT Amobi Okoye with our #9 pick like some of the Draft mocks are saying, that'll bring down our average age a bit. Amobi is only 19. He graduated from college I think. He's one of those brainy kids who skipped a bunch of grades. Amobi theoretically could have a 20 year career if he lasts as long as Truck Traylor. :D

i doubt we will take at DT in the first. i think we will take quinn/brown in the first.
