I do like how you don't have the Rookie CB starting so we don't expect to much out of them so what ever we get its like extra

probably because he'll make the best slot corner on the team. Sean Smith can't cover the slot - he's an outside corner. Vontae might be able to - but Allen is proven to be able to.
 
our nickel package ( our 4-2-5 that is... ) will look more like this IMO

RDE- joey porter
LDE- jason taylor
NT- randy starks
DT- phillip merling (better pass rusher than langford)

SOLB- channing crowder
WOLB- Akin ayodele

for the defensive backfield... i don't know... depends if vontae beats out eric green pretty early in camp, if so, it's going down like this

CB- will allen
CB- vontae davis
NB- eric green/nate jones
FS- gibril wilson
SS- yeremiah bell

if we are to play a bigger WR crew, look for sean smith to have a lot of reps. But i don't think he's an excellent fit at nickel, and i don't think he can be good enough to move will allen to nickel on a constant basis... that's just my opinion but i must admit, Todd Bowles has a lot of weapons back there, but he also has a lot of work to do to figure out what's the best "formula"

i dont see smith or Vontae last on the depth chart. Smith should beat out jones and Vontae should start, imo NO WAY AT ALL j. Allen starts at corner. thats vontaes job. if he cant beat out allen i will be very disappointed with him. It doesnt take much to beat out allen. Vontae could be considered a bust if he cant

agreed as to implied. POS saban lied. Allen is a loser and reportedly a boozer. He must GO as Parcells does know!
