On the surface, blaming the D for this loss would seem ridiculous. However, as the original thread suggests, this defense never seems to finish the dominance, which is the hallmark of A GREAT DEFENSE. They can't finish it out, and that takes away from their magnificent play for the prior 58 minutes. Also, that side of the ball is where the money is, and they should be held to a higher standard. This isn't the first time the D has had a lapse in an important moment. As to why this keeps occuring, I'm not sure. But I would venture it has to do with the mental makeup of the team.
