Defense got worn down...BS!!

The Defense plays well for 59 minutes so the game is on them? I guess that int for a td is Zach's fault. When this offense comes together our D will be exposed? How about this our Offense has scored 23 points in 2 games, while we've had 2 ints returned for TD'S so we'll bust that number down to 9 points in 2 games our offense has accounted for. I really hope our D get's exposed because it might be the best in the league but we're not gonna get any benefits because our offense is pathetic. Randy McMike was the only one getting in anyone's face, this offense is lacking leadership. Aj Feeley being described as "a deer in headlights" is great. The funny part was I was more confident in our defense possibly scoring a TD then our offense. Really looking back at the game, Feeley's 1st int when Miami was in FG range was probably the defense's fault also.
I agree. But what are you gonna do, it's all Feeley supporters starting this crap.

If you think a Probowl WR like Johnson wasn't going to catch a pass or two you are stupider than our coach. Our defense was dominant all game and frankly Carson Palmer connected on a two minute drill play to his #1 receiver against our #5 corner and #2 SS playing a deep zone. The farm was bet on the blitz. We lost the farm.

For the record:

Dorsals Defense in 2004 = 19 points given up.
Dorsals Offense in 2004 = 14 points given up.

Let's see if the offense can catch up to the defense in points allowed.

I am tired of these loser fans blaming the defense for playing soft .. .when they had both starting dts out... they had 3 corners out ... and they held the Bengals to 9 points .... any other offense would score more than 9 points ... by the way u p@@@ies that are calling the defense soft ... should go be jet fans because their defense played great against the bengals at home... pathetic

DING DING DING DING!!! It's going to be a rude awakening if this offense comes together and "all of a sudden" the defense is exposed.

if you look at our schedule, i think were only gonna see a few offenses that have the potential to expose 2 important things...

1. No depth at CB
2. LBs that cant cover downfield

Our D is made to stop the Ravens, Steelers, Browns n Broncos of the NFL...

But the thing is our Dline is what makes our D what it is, we NEED those big bodies in there, n if we dont have them were gonna have lots of problems.

Nobody is blaming the defense for the loss. We're simply pointing out that they are not blameless for the loss. You obviously have a bit more sense than PF72 so, at least try to see the point here.

Defense dominant "all game"? Not the last two minutes when the whole thing was on the line. And that's the point. Nobody is saying we lost because of the D, or that our D isn't one of the best in the league. What some say, and I agree, is that in crunch time they don't get it done. Any dolfan who can't see this trend is blind.

They played their asses off for 59 minutes....the one chance they had to REALLY determine the outcome, they let slip through their hands.

Now, get a grip for a second....NOBODY called the defense soft... I'll refrain from calling you a loser too, since you obviously got all worked up for nothing.

To point out we stopped the clock twice in the last 2 minutes of the game, I believe a Time out was called, and we were charged a time out when Poole got hurt. Giving the Bengals offense as what i'll call "extra" time outs doesn't help, i'm not putting anything on Poole. Atleast Mare shocked me and looked like the kicker he was a few seasons ago.

Obviously there is a misconception between what people are posting and thinking. I read these posts like it's BLAMING the defense. You may read the posts differently. That's the beauty of the message board. Everyone can express their opinions and comments. They can also flat out vent if they feel like it.

Please don't take my comments like I'm 'attacking' anyone. I don't think we played well as a "team" last night. I think the D played well. I felt the offense was awful. That's my opinion. But, it's a team game. You don't get half-a-win for the D playing well and half-a-loss for the offense playing poorly.

Why that makes me a fan with "no sense", is beyond me.

You're right, the time out Wanny called on the last drive of the Bengals backfired. Given DW's history, is that really a surprise.

Because of your stupid comments about supporting Feeley/blaming the defense....They don't go hand in hand....If you want to appear like you know what you're talking about maybe you should try and avoid intentionally flaming a thread.

The Defense played extremly well. You cant pointblame at them. It was a collective lost by the defense, special teams and offense.

No, neither of those int's were the defenses fault. But the Field goal to win the game was entirely thier fault. Say what you want but the Offense and Special Teams played horrible for 55 minutes and good for 3 while the defense played great for 58 minutes and bad for 2. great Defenses don't give up 60 yard drives that result in the game winning field goal, they just don't. PERIOD
the score was tied and we needed a stop they couldn't deliver so they are just as much to blame as the offense if you ask me.
