This team just got spanked. they know it and so do the coaches. i've listened to alot of interviews today and the atitude of the players seems pretty confident. i think they know they just got spanked. i also think the defnense was ****y coming into this game and they got slapped back into reality. i dont think we'll see many more games like that this season against our defense. lets just hope the offense can punch it in a few times this week and we get d. thomas back or larry johnson involved for at least 1/3 of the running plays. let reggie get some rest.

We all blast the secondary because it got big time exposed. Even being a Miami homer i have to laugh at VD's claim that he and Smith are the best DB tandem. After last night that is really laughable! BUT - where was the DL?? NE also ran at will with little Woodhead. Where was that tough DL? No pass rush and no run stuffing. I hear alot of praise on Odrick but i thought he did zip all night. Absolutely no pass rush at all. He got a pick - great - but the ball fell into his lap. Starks looked fat and out of shape for DE. Is he beefed up because we have no backup NT - which is another mind boggling decision with this coaching staff. Here NE has moved to a 4-3 and put's well over 700lbs of beef in the middle to stuff the run and when Starks is in there in our 3-4 we have less than 300!! And we want to know why we got gashed up the gut on runs but a guy 5 ft tall cut by the Jets.

Lastly will we ever get a true safety? We all knew YBell is a great guy and plays the run well but is a big liability in the passing game. And so we have what at FS?? Jones was exposed big time - he is a SS being forced to try FS. If Carroll was in the game they were going at him every time and if Jones had coverage over the top they went that way. You want a blueprint against this D just line up 4 or 5 wide and force Miami to bring in Sapp or Carroll or Wilson and you are golden.

We looked slow... but Aaron Hernandez is an effing beast... you have to give him props and I hate the Patriots so much it pains me to say it. He made back-breaking plays. What about when Benny Sapp just bounced off of him?

Aaron Hernandez is good. But what about Benny Sapp bouncing off of him? That is simple Sapp made a stupid play why would a small shiiiit corner be trying to make a highlight reel hit on a guy much bigger than him? Wrap the guy up and make the freaking tackle plain and simple. Sapp sucks
