Some say that Defenses Win Championships. Well the Phins have a Championship Defense. Even with T. Bowens & Junior Seau out of the game the Phins D gave it to the JAGS all day. They are the best D inside the 20. This D just seems to confuse everybody they play. Today they get 3 INT's, Forced 5 Fumbles and got 2 of them. As if that was not enough they also racked up 5 sacks and scored a TD!!!!
The offense did not appear to be clicking. Oh well this D does not need much help. I would like to see the Phins throw deep more often.
But overall you have to be happy with the Phins at this point in the season. If they do go deeeep more often and Ricky does his job. Then this D could take them all the way. Sam & Pat are lock down corners with Zach & Jason dishing out the pain.....OUCH....Then you also have Bowens, Marion, Knight, Seau, and T-Buck......Crazy ........ Crazy..... Crazy......
And I did guess the score .......lol
