I was talking with a friend of mine yesterday (he's a Giants fan) about the Dolphins vs. Giants defenses in 2005 and 2006. We got into an argument about whose defense is better. Since I don't follow the G-men very closely, I'm not very familiar with their defense? Is he correct that we have no-one but Zach and JT? I'd like some input here. Thanks.

 living in Jersey like you do also, my whole entire family are Giants fans. We have arguments all the time. I think it's pretty even to tell you the truth. They got Strahan, we have JT. At the moment, they have better linebackers with Pierce and Arrington, but we have Channing Crowder who is quickly becoming a great linebacker along with Zach. Secondary is about even too IMO. We basically swapped Allen for Madison. They have a edge in DL as of now. But we have so many young defenders on the rise that I think we will have the better defense in no time.

They have a good defense right now with their two D-ends and the linebacking core is pretty good. I'm not sold on their secondary although they do have my personal fav Sam Madison.

Thank goodness they're not Jets fans. :rolleyes2

He just seemed so hyped up that their defense was so much better than ours. I had to remind him, though, that we beat them in '03 and we'll beat them again in '07. :D

honestly, I know they're all around here, but I don't know too many Jets fans. But they're still my most hated team

and BTW, I need to go to that place in your sig, my little cousin (also a Dolphins fan) has gone there before with his dad and they say it's a great place for Dolphins fans to hang out.

You really should try the sportz bar - you'd love it. It's a great place. I know the g-men have a great player in Arrington. I would have loved to land him on our team.
