After two dissmal performances from our Offense...How long do you think our Defense will continually keep us in games???

Through two games, Miami  still reeling from Ricky Williams' unexpected pre-training camp retirement  has 90 yards and two first downs on the ground.

Leaguewide, 28 players have more rushing yards than Miami's entire offense.
The Dolphins have scored two touchdowns.

"It's very unfortunate that we lose two games and give up one touchdown (on defense)," coach Dave Wannstedt said. "That's hard to comprehend. We didn't play good enough anywhere on offense to win."

I wouldnt say "anywhere", hitting mcmike down the seam was beautiful. we just need the oline to block and Konrad back and that in and of itself would bring great improvement.

i take exception to your comment about RW. it is not ricky we miss, it is his talent. good ridance to that personality.

I don't think his talent would do anything right now with the way the OL plays. It's time to change the line and add some vets..i.e. McIntosh at LT and German at RG. The D will continue to play hard because they don't won't fingers pointed at them too.

agreed. but the point is alot people keep saying we need ricky back. no, we don't. it's his talent that people really miss. if this burn-out were still on the team, i think you would see alot more turmoil.

It doesn't matter if Barry Sanders is back there taking the ball for us...We couldn't run on anybody with this weakest line in the NFL.

Your point is well taken concerning Ricky... The emphasis was on the fact we had an awful O-Line last year despite thers shortcomings we were more productive than this present offense...

Good point...At this point any combination with the exclusion of wade will help...

Moments after the Dolphins fell to 0-2 for only the fifth time in the franchise's 39-year history with a 16-13 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, head coach Dave Wannstedt's postgame speech to his team was loud enough that his voice could be heard in the nearby interview room.

"Yeah, he was ticked, just like everybody else. And he has every right to be. It was a let down for everybody," said defensive end Jason Taylor, adding it was probably the angriest he has seen the coach during his five-year tenure with the team.

mood inside the locker room was a little more subdued, but hardly indecipherable.
As much as the defensive players like to have the pressure on them, there comes a point when it takes its toll.

There is great since of fustration from the defense... If the Offense don't get on track the Dolphins will have some serious internal problems...
