Frazier was just fired in mn. He is no doubt not a good hc. But, when he was a defensive coordinator up here he had the number one rushing defense in the league for a while. Now, if we had him at d coordinator, and coeyl as our secondary coach., I think our defense would see a drastic improvement. Also pick up guys that are fit to our system in place, of course. What do you think?

Coyle isn't going to stay and take a demotion... If Frazier signs it's because Coyle was fired.

Definitely would be an upgrade. My concern, which I posted on another thread is if Philbin is not fired. If Philbin stays and Sherman and Coyle are fired, I can't see Joe being comfortable with a former HC as a coordinator. He can't even keep veteran leaders because he is stuck in the old "my way or the highway" mentality. I think he will be very intimidated by someine with that experience. Hopefully, I am wrong. I would definitely consider Frazier as DC and would like Kubiak as OC.

Remember Sherman was a former head coach.

Yes, I just think it is different with Sherman due to the relationship that he and Joe had. It was more personal than what it would he with Frazier or Kubiak or even someone else with the HC experience. I don't think it would be Joe's decision to bring them in and I don't think he would be able to handle it.

Probably true. Joe is truly the definition of being stuck in old ways. I liked his mentality at first but even on hard knocks I noticed how stonewall he is. Just seems like he has no personality

Joe Philbin is afraid of surrounding himself with superior coaches. He has an inferiority complex. With a vocal and confident assistant coach, he will lose control of the team and essentially become expendable.

This is pretty much what I was trying to say, only you said it better. Thanks!

Leslie Frazier's scheme would probably need a complete overhaul of personnel. I do like Coyle's scheme, but with the ****ty LB play down the stretch the lack of adjustments (and that damn zone coverage) killed us.

I don't think Philbin has an inferiority complex - Mike Sherman was a prior head coach. Don't start making things up (and I don't even like Philbin).

As for a defensive coach - here's a thought - since our defense was VERY GOOD this season, how about we keep the one we have.

The run d took a huge step back i think we need to just go 3-4 and be done with it
