Ok so Brian Urlacher wins it, thats fine.

But for the guys who were voted for behind him, let's compare their stats to Urlacher, and even Zach Thomas.

Why didnt Vilma, Edwards, or ZT get a vote?
What the hell did Stroud do to deserve a vote?
Adrian Wilson had some votes, so they DO vote for crappy teams.

The answer is simple, its just the MVP award votes with Palmer getting 2 votes and Tiki getting 6 votes... people have made the awards a popularity contest instead of reviewing a person's season and great skills in the game of football, thats why I don't really pay attention to that stuff anymore. Not saying Shaun shouldn't of won it, but 2 votes for Palmer? the guy threw 30+ TDS this season.

Yeah, really a shame. Thomas is by far the most underrated LB in the league. With his stats, he probably should have won the award (or got close to it).
 
Chicago and Urlacher are in the playoffs...the Phins are not...that is why Urlacher got the votes and Zach didn't.
 
Champ Bailey deserved to win it IMO. He played one of the best seasons I've ever seen by a CB. Ty Law was also very deserving as well.
