Deion Branch being shopped

If they trade him boy will there WR's suck. I could have sworn though i head from ESPNNews that he was expected to reach a deal with the Pats sometime this week
 
He wont be traded, its BB trying to lure Branch back if he doesnt get an offer that Deion wished for by a team.

You make a fair offer to a player and that player thinks he's worth a much greater price than your offer what do you do? You do what the Pats are doing right now. Let that player shop his services to other teams and see what they are willing to pay. Deion is good WR but he is not worth the kind of money he and his agent are trying to extort from the Pats and I'll be very suprised is he gets an offer anywhere near what he's looking for. If he does then the Pats will have to be compensated in the form of another player and/or a draft pick. At this point I think the team wants to end this situation one way or the other and move forward. We'll find out by sept 1 where we stand WR wise and if he's traded then the pats can use their resources to find another WR to fill in but at least we'll not be hanging in limbo with Branch.
I personally think Deion is in for a very rude awakening on this and I could be wrong but I don't think so.
