Hello Guys and Gals,

For all that its worth, I live in the DFW area and I listened to a Deion Sanders interview today on the ticket radio station on 1310am, which basically ripped Peyton Manning for stringing Arizona and San Francisco along (2 NFC teams), because Peyton Manning had always said, he only wanted to play in the AFC, to avoid competing against his brother in the NFC. So he explained, and if that were the case, why would he even want to talk to San Francisco or Arizona?

Sander's basically said (in his opinion), that Manning really had no interest or intent in either NFC team and he was just going after the money, by going to the Broncos.

To prove his point, Sanders gave the members of the ticket 5 seconds to name any receiver (or running back) currently on the Broncos team and neither radio voice commentary host could explain or shout it out, so Sanders bascially proved his point.

That being said, I want the Peyton Manning with the Bronco's signing to be the out most ultimate fail, because he shunned the Miami Dolphins.

Its been stated by Manning already that if he didn't have interest that he wouldn't have went to visit the team.

I think John Elway was a big factor in his decision.

I think what you mentioned about him not wanting to be in the NFC because of Eli is true, and I also think he never was going to play in the AFC South due to his appreciation to the Colts organisation. I know you can say well they cut him and that but I think Peyton has too much respect for the Colts fans to join their rivals. So that leaves the AFC North where only Cleveland needs a QB, AFC West where Denver and Kansas City maybe interested and then the AFC East with Miami and Buffalo (NYJ out because of the Eli thing). Given those four options (admittedly by process of non-factual elimination) you can see why he picked Denver.

Probably over-thinking things but just my take on how things turned out the way they did. :)

Rooting for grown men to fail.

So sad.

Moving this thread to the General NFL Forum.

I know, right?!?

It's much more fun rooting for kids to fail.

 Your sig destroys me every time I see it.

Yes ultimate fail because he used everyone....

let it be duly noted.... :)

Can't say I blame him.

Use every bit of leverage that you can to get ahead and make your life better.

You and I would do the same.

Humans are selfish by nature.

Can't blame him for going, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't rooting for him to become a bobble head.
