Many thought we were doomed last year with the 10-3 Pats taking on 7-6 Miami with everything on the line. Miami had a very depleted o-line lead by a tackle duo of Bryant Mckinnie and Tyson Clabo and Sam Brenner and John Jerry at Guard. We also had some injures as well. I'm not sure but I think Lamar Miller was inactive that day too. Things are nearly the same right now. Granted we were at home and that is a huge difference but we also led the Pats in NE last year 17-0 at one point. The "illegal batted ball" play killed the fins and changed the game. Anyway we came out of last years game with a huge upset putting us at 8-6 with two "winnable" games with Buffalo and NYJ. We all know what happened next but I think this year could be different if we could just get by NE this week. Maybe the taste of letting it slip by to far less talented teams will help us this time around.Nobody gave us a shot last year and nobody is this year either but honesty miami seems to play better in the underdog roll anyway. Hey it may not happen but at least it's happened before. The Baltimore game hurts us really bad but don't give up yet. Keep your fingers crossed guys and keep hope alive. If we Lose Sunday then say what you must but this thing isn't over just yet. Fins up!

It's not our offense that I'm worried about. It's our soft, completely lost defense.

Please, 13 points wouldn't cut it vs NE even if our defense was the 2000 Ravens.

It doesn't really matter how our offense does as the defense is probably going to yield 40+. In fact I doubt the pats punt once.

We will need to score over 30....and somehow find a way to get consistent pressure on Brady. The "D-line" has disappeared recently and if Brady has time in the pocket...he will pick us apart.

Not worried about an offense that has only scored 1 TD in each of the last 2 games and you are going into Foxboro?
Wow.
The only way we are winning is if we break out of the offensive slump. It's like the offense shot its wad in Denver.

We won't get to 20, this offense is still the biggest weakness on the team. Giving up 28 to Baltimore sucks but scoring 13 equally sucks plus 16 vs the Jets secondary??? Are you kidding me????

This game has 40-60 for NE to 7 -13 for Miami written all over it.

And how again is that not the defense playing worse???

6 of one half dozen of the other, 1 offensive TD?? You looking to win 13-12 in Foxboro?

If we lose say 40-60 to 35 or so I'll say the offense did well. Since we can't break 16 or 13 vs the Jets and Ravens Secondary's, which are probably 2 of the worst in the league, can't see how we fare better vs Revis and Browner. Offense still sucks more than the defense who have really been the reason for our 7 wins. Give me one game the offense has won or sealed this year?

Wrong. The only way we even sniff a win is is both units break out of their slump. The offense has been bad, but the defense has been horrible in a historic proportion. See 200+ rushing yards and no pressure what so ever.

Nope I'm not expecting a win at all. This will probably be the first Dolphin's game I don't watch in over 3 decades. I think Lazor is overrated and the players will quit on Philbin. It could get very, very ugly.

See how many games you can find that NFL teams win with 1 TD. Not many. We are 1-4 when we score a single TD.
But yeah the defense has to step it also.

We agree on that. This is going to be a beat down.

Everyone like to talk about our defense shrinking in big moments and drives but our offense has been just as guilty with a number of 3 and outs in critical drives. It happened in Green Bay, Detroit, and against the Ravens.

I am going to put a money line bet on the Patriots. It is that bad. If we win I guess I paid for it. If not might as well profit on the stinking Pats
