Here we are... We are going to have a new head coach. Coming in with a top 10 pick. His predecessor having traded the 2nd round pick on a quarterback who has yet to prove himself on your team. He has an aging, but talented defense - whom needs to show some new serious game breakers and gut check ability. The offense has claims of potential, and claims of being over-rated.

What to do? Hopefully we bring in Cam Cameron, but what is he going to do? Having coached L.T. he will have some knowledge of the RB position, and we'll finally get a real opinion on how talented Ronnie Brown is. But what happens with Brown? Chambers? Culpepper? We have a potentially star-studded offense. However we also have players who could be over-rated, and at this point in time can offer us several high draft picks. Does Cameron make due with what we have, or does he clean house? Does he draft his own quarterback to develop in the 1st? Or does he manage with Culpepper/Harrington/Lemon?

I was previously against drafting a quarterback. But if we do bring in an offensive mind like Cameron I hope we do now. Hopefully he brings a few of his own underlies and can develop his own system, with his own players. I'd love to see something entirely new! I also wouldn't mind seeing us draft one of the top WR's/RB's. Johnson, Ginn Jr., Peterson, etc.

the second for Culpepper was last years'. We still have our second rounder this year.

I know that, I hadn't stated otherwise. Sorry if it seemed implied. What I had been implying was we already wasted a draft pick on a quarterback, a high pick at that. Does the new coach continue the trend? People don't like to see high picks being used over and over for lost causes.

IMO i think that this years draft should foucs in on bringing in some offensive talent. O-line, WR, and TE should all be focused because the players that we have at those positions have not proven enough to not spend picks on them. McMike drops passes like he drops his wife, Chambers is well Chambers, the O-line is abismal, and the QB position is a mess. If we do get a chance to draft a QB high than i say take it.

Lemon looked OK in his start and worked for Cam a couple years ago. Could be something interesting.

The question I have is are Harrington or DC worth a better draft pick for any other team? Could we get what we invested back?

Harrington - Gave a 5th in the 2007 draft. I doubt he could fetch us a 6th.
Cpep - Gave a 2nd in the 2006 draft. We might be able to fetch a late 4th rounder.

I am sorry, we DO NOT NEED A RB, Ronnie is the real deal, this guy missed 4+ games and still rushed for a 1000. If he was in for all 16 and utilized correctly he could of easily rushed for 1500. As for QB, if we get Cam, I agree I dont have a problem with drafting a QB. I very much like Brohm at 9, if he comes out. But if not, I like Branch at 9 or a top tier WR!!
