What do oyu guys think about picking Dixon with a late rounder,
he has a great accurate arm and is very mobile, good hight and arm stregnth i feel like he will be the steal of the draft, he has a pass first run second mentality and was almost a ure fire heisman winner before he got hurt and look at what happend once he was out the ducks were horrible i think he has some serious potential.
just a thought

Im with ya... I wouldnt mind Dixon or Brennen in the 5th or 6th.

the reason i was thinking dixon besides his talent , remember years back when the cowboys had quincy carter he thrived as a mediocre Qb under BIll i feel like it would be a good fit with a young talent in dixon

Him and Brennan are real good players to pick up in the late rounds just to have a toy to tinker with. Specially Dixon, he is fast and has good arm strength a little short/small. But a good toy.

im pretty sure parcells got rid of him in favor of drew bledsoe.

perfect team i think quincy carter got kicked off the team for off the feild issues im pretty sure he was like addicted to cocaine, they went 10-6 with him his last year

I would avoid both of them in the draft.

You got to be kidding. Carter was no better than a back-up. He was worse than Jay Feely(our old QB, no the kicker).

Dixon was the MVP of the game against Michigan, USC and Arizona State this year. Completed 67.8% of his passes, ran a sub 4.5 40 (9 rushing TDs this year), and was first team All-academic, too. He's about 6'3-6'4, although needs to bulk up slightly (10-15lbs). He didn't have a bad game all year long. He had 4 picks, 1 was a catchable ball tipped by the reciever, another was against Arizona where he played with a torn ACL and ran for a 38 yard TD with a torn ACL... 3 moths after surgery he had a great workout a few days ago. And he can be drafted in round 5-7th. Somebody will be very-very happy with him.

i do believe your right. he failed a drug test and was cut. bledsoe though i believe was brought in soon after that but again i could be wrong.

learn how to read , i said he was a mediocre Qb that thrived in parcells scheme which is true, he was picked up by the jets and saw a few minutes before dropping out of the nfl , i didnt compare his abilities with Dixon just physical attributes of being a stong armed skinny fast Qb.
