Simple! Now our GM is in place, who would be your, major FA signing, current player to re-sign and 1st round draft pick?

Ill go:-

1 - Jared Veldheer LT Oakland Raiders - Underrated and excellent in pass protection
2 - Brent Grimes CB - Franchise him
3 - Zach Martin OT - If 2 inches taller and ten pounds heavier he would be top 10-15 pick

i think phiblin will have his hand in everything our new GM does.my gut tells me we will b looking at the type of players Phiblin wants to build his team with.

Free Agency: I agree with Veldheer, if not resign McKinnie sign a RT.
Resign: I know you asked for one but GRIMES, Soliai, McKinnie (maybe)
Draft: OG, OG, RB, QB, LB, OT, LB

that would be a great start...2 of those guys though are a year removed from a serious injury

Really wouldn't mind signing Charles Tillman. A little banged up the last couple of years but what do you expect playing in the NFC North and in the ****ty chicago weather. This all depends on if patterson can stay healthy and if our 2nd year corners improve.

Solai and Grimes are a must to resign. Mckinnie if we drop the ball in FA and the draft.

As far as the draft, we need to start taking the best available. I remember passing up on Dez Bryant and know that was a mistake. So id take LB Mosley from alabama if availbale or WR Kalvin Benjamin FSU/Evans A&M.
But as per usual we will take the best available OT which will probably be the 5th or 6th taken and have a mediocre career

Maybe but point of thread was if you were GM lol

IMO Starks is more important than Soliai.

If we miss out on the top 4 OT's in round 1 I say we look at guards (C Richardson out of Baylor piques my interest) or impact players (good chance Amaro is still there) and try to get someone in the 2nd like Turner or Antonio Richardson. Just my 2 cents.

Our free agent: Resign Grimes to a 2 year deal with an option on a 3rd.
Other free agent: Sign Alex Mack and move Pouncey to guard
Draft pick: Calvin Pryor. He's an immediate starter and playmaker at safety, a spot Miami needs to improve, and he'll be a better player than whichever o lineman is left at 19.

FA: Top LT AND Top OG
Resign: Brent Grimes AND Starks OR Soliai
Draft: LB Ryan Shazier

Oline on both FA and draft and a lb to replace wheeler and a rb in the draft.... resign solia and grims and carroll. Cut patterson, martin and moore

Zack Martin wouldn't need to be 2 inches taller or 10 pounds heavier...what does 10 pounds heavier do anyway? Didn't Jonathan Martin come back 15 pounds heavier...what did that do for him?

If Zack Martin had longer arms he's be a top 15 pick. His short arms are what will drop him.

I agree about long arms, but I also believe that if Martin was 6'6 320, there would be no talk about us getting him at #19

If he has short arms, might he be better as a guard?
