I dont care what Peyton Manning says, he may not be in it totally for the money but HE WILL NOT walk away from $25+ million in guaranteed money...

We absolutely cannot compete with that, bottom line....

Yea I just mentioned it in the other thread.

It's at $50.735 million...

****ing insane.

Well it comes down to another championship. If he wants money then yeah denver has it but there is no way IMO even with Manning that denver wins a superbowl. They have 3 suspended players going into next season.

Sorry....I don't see it....it's not about the money with P. Manning.

You may be right but for the sake of argument lets say that Denver gives him $25million in guarantees, we just cant compete with that. And while he may not be all about the money his momma didnt raise no fool.

Denver it will be...

I am sure P. Manning makes $10+ million just in endorements alone. But if it's all about the money and Denver offers him $25 million a season, I just waive at Peyton and say, "Good luck in Denver."

My thoughts exactly.

I say we drive the price up on denver, let them have it if they're willing to pay stupid money on a player that may never be good again. But knowing Denver they will find a way to blow it even with him.

He will go to the team he thinks has the BEST shot to get him another title, while still being able to pay him close to what he wants. Is that Denver, I don't think so.

Plus, please, do not forget Florida does not have state income tax, Denver does. That is huge IMO.

What makes it attractive is the Broncos can also sign, Wayne, Garçon, Saturday and Clark and still have money left. The Dolphins would have to squeeze Manning and Wayne in.

That's what Reggie White said too in the early days of free agency. At the end of the day, it was about money. He went to the highest bidder.

Sure we can, you simply spread it over multiple years to make it cap friendly

Why can't Miami give him 25 million in gaurantees? Its not as if that would be a 25 million dollar cap hit. It gets spread out over the length of the contract

let him go to Denver then.....why do we need to try so hard for a guy that might play a couple of more years if that anyway? For once, lets do it the right way.....draft a QB and build around him.....enough with the back ups and the injured older guys.

Ozzy rules!!
