Denver Post: Manning to visit Denver, Arizona and Miami as of now

Peyton Manning - QB - Colts

ESPN's Adam Schefter confirms that free agent Peyton Manning's trip west to visit the Broncos is "expected to include other visits," including the Cardinals.

(And perhaps the Seahawks?) It sounds like the order of confirmed visits will be Broncos first, Cardinals second, perhaps a team or two in between, and then the Dolphins, who appear to be being pushed to the back burner at the moment. The Broncos visit will take place on Friday night. Manning could arrive at Cardinals headquarters by as soon as Saturday afternoon.

I'm glad we're the last visit. Means we have the most time and the most leverage! I really think it's our turn this time...

The good thing is he will be meeting with Miami last I assume. He's going to go from Denver to Arizona since they are both on the west, then probably back to Miami. Get ready Dolphins.

I think means he is favoring Miami and will visit them first to rule em out. Or lets hope so anyway!

I know Flynn is probably the safer choice but honestly, I'm tired of the safer choice. Lets go all in with Peyton. I only hope Peyton also calls and is all in with us.

Yeah Dolphins really taking a chance. There is no for sure interview with manning and dolphins. I mean i hope we can at least talk to him.

Wouldn't surprise me if Ross and Ireland are playing the you won't use me again card.

Play it like you are so so and make the player want you now because you aren't showing direct initiating interest.

Darlington claims that his source is inside the Dolphins. When have the Parcells/Ireland Dolphins ever fed accurate information to the media? Especially to a guy like Darlington, who the team couldn't stand when he was a beat writer here?

I don't buy it. I think this is Ireland feeding everyone a load of BS again.

My question is, if he was here on the day he was released, why are the Broncos and not the Dolphins the first team to meet with him?

We jumped on Jim, then we jumped of Jeff and we got hosed both times. maybe they know Peyton is interested and their waiting to strike last for once. not repeated their past mistakes...

Im sorry, but players honestly don't give a bleep about a jersey number. They won't rule out a team because a jersey number isn't available, lol.

I don't believe that. There have been millions of dollars exchanged for jersey numbers. Although I am not sure if it will matter to Manning, since he is one of the classiest guys to play the game, I do believe the number means a lot more to players than many think. The guy has worn #18 his whole career.
