we will be able to mostly pick BPA in the draft if we get a decent guard and tackle in fa. Does anyone know what our remaining cap is after the Shelly Smith and Finnegan signings?

We should have over 20 million. However we need to save some to resign RT, Pouncey, and Odrick.
By RT, I presume that you mean Ryan Tannehill. Why would we be resigning Tannehill when he has at least another 2 years on his contract? I guess you could pay him more now to try to lock him into a decent contract that doesn't break the bank. Does anybody else think that putting some of today's money towards locking up Tannehill now makes a lot of sense? To be honest I don't know how good he will be. He could be very good but only a small percentage make it.

Gotta give it another year. Solid year out of him and gets us to the playoffs you do it next offseason before he gets too ridiculous.

I think we should roll as much over as possible... just to keep us in good shape... Wallace's # drops ut some others rise so it seems to equal out. The more we roll over each year could set us up good for years to come. Imagine if the raiders roll their amount over... that would make them set for 20 years haha

above post, I am slightly drunk

I think we normally roll 10 million into the season for fa? Does anyone know what we will need for our draft choices?

We will have to hold on to more than that if we feel we have some injury pasts to be careful of just to be safe and Ryan's upcoming future with the team as well.

It is always good to have a little in the bank so to speak, but if the projection are true....the salary cap is going to sky rocket over the next few years leaving more then enough money to hopefully keep some of the in house talent...especially Tannehill.

I hear you bro but I would be more conservative especially if the cap doesn't increase as much as they are speculating.

If Mack is any indication of what top Center money is then Poucey is going to cost more then I would have thought a year ago..

I'm not sure where Odrick market is....he's very consistent and has played well, but I'm not sure he's top 10 or 15....I guess he would be around what Soliiai got paid this year...(I have to think inflation is going to push these number higher as well)

Tannehill will be the most interesting...if he progresses like I think he will and he gets the time to showcase his talents, the team will be in the play=offs and we are looking at potentially Flacco/Ryan numbers...

I do agree ith what you are saying, but I think rolling over around 7-10 mil this year should be just about right...

The way it stands now we might be done with free agency at this point. I was hoping for a RT but need mony for draft picks and in season moves. Maybe we can bring Big Mack cheap to play RT and draft one in the 3rd round. It seems we might have to draft a guard at either 19 or 50. Also we don't want to be maxed out for next year.

Ozzy rules!!

If we are done in free agency...The first two picks should be O-line. You can't make the same mistake as last and go with washed up scrubs...Tannehill was lucky to survive 58 sacks without a serious injury...
