Derek Anderson out for season

Poor Brownies. It boggles the mind how they are this bad. This was supposed to be the year for them. It's better to be in our situation and have no hopes and overachieve than to have high hopes and epic fail like this.

they went from having the best qb situation in the league to ken freakin dorsey. grab your ankles cleveland.

I guess this means we have the best QB situation in the league now by default.

Cleveland Browns:
Quinn: IR, Anderson: IR, Dorsey: Starting

Miami Dolphins:
Pennington: Starting, Henne: Reserve, Beck: Inactive (but healty)

Im confused by that statement. How does one make the other true.
We do have Pennington who has been good but far from the best in the league. Henne is totally unproven and Beck is not very good.

They were screwed with Anderson and Quinn

At least Quinn showed potential and Anderson was good last year. They just cant run the ball and have no defense though. Although even with Anderson out they almost beat the Colts.

Browns sucked with both Anderson and Quinn. Part of the problem is the WR's suck and drop a lot of balls.
Quinn didnt show much other than a bunch of picks.

Quinn's stats his last game across-the-board were worse than Beck's so I don't know how you can say he's shown more potential than Beck - that's of course unless you're still pining for him as the #9 wasted pick :boohoo:

Great opportunity for Dorsey to pull a Lazarus by summoning up the brand of inner strength, will and fortitude that enabled him to so nobly lead the Canes to glory. I wouldn't bet the farm on it considering his physical limitations but I'll sure be rooting for his resurrection. Roll Canes, LOL.

Wasn't that the game that he had a broken pinky hmm do you think that had anything to do with it. So now we only judge Quinn by the game where he hurt his hand. I still stand by we should have taken Quinn at 9 but neither of us will know we are right or wrong for a little while since he hurt his hand. Quinn has more potential than Beck to anybody except a few select people on this board. Beck is barely holding onto his NFL life as the third string qb, while Quinn was starting and lost that job only because he hurt his hand. We are still figuring out on Quinn and Ginn but nobody doubts that we wasted our second round pick on Beck.
