The Miami Dolphins have signed Derek Curry, lb, from Notre Dame according to their football message boards. I will verify through other media sources later.

This guy is another bigger linebacker. He's about 6'2", 240 lbs and is known as a very hard worker. He's had 100+ tackles in each of the past three seasons. He's not very good in pass coverage, but he's got good power against the run. Probably a strong side linebacker who can play inside some.
 
Dude, what ever doubts I had about Saban has been eliminated. I would love to see these guys battle out in Training Camp to make the final roster. Competition breeds success. I'm loving this.
 
Here is his individual workout #s from the ND's pro day:
Curry (6-2, 239) ran the 40 twice and clocked a 4.85 both times. He had a 37-inch vertical jump, 9-foot-8 long jump, did 15 reps and ran a 4.52 short shuttle and a 7.10 three-cone drill.
 
Big, smart, productive. Slow, lacks explosiveness, not quick either, simply stiff as a log.
