Miami defensive back Shirdonya Mitchell came away impressed after trying to cover Hagan during a recent workout.
"He's strong, comes out of his breaks real quick," Mitchell said. "He actually got me on a couple of routes a few times. He's real strong, got good quickness and he really sells his routes. He's a good receiver. A real good receiver."

A Hagan Chambers combo with Daunte throwing for a few years would just be a dream come ture. Thank you Nick Saban.

Great find. Sweet, I'll have to meet this young fella. Maybe take him fishing.

Good article... Hagan seems to have alot of potential... Personally, he may have been the steal of the draft. Lets hope he pays dividends for the Dolphins.

It cracks me up how far this guy slid because of a horrible week at the Senior Bowl. Look at his production in college, he's 6'2" and runs a 4.4...what is not to like? Miami got lucky that the kid had the droppsies Senior Bowl week. If he could catch before...he'll catch again. Great #3 pick!

good suff, he was a great pick 4 us, all i'm asking 4 is to win da east this yr,DA s.b. will come................

Good read jim1.
I see Hagan as our slot wr making big plays THIS year ... and what about goal line mismatches? CC on one side, Hagan on the other ... can't wait!

i'll feel better if its our starting corners saying those things..

YEAH, LETS HOPE!! this was one of the only moves i really liked in the draft, but something a lot of people don't realize is his problems were just not the senior bowl. he was in a pretty big slump towards the end of his senior year.

MASS drops! and he showed a very bad habit of totally losing his concentration!

did anyone see the UCLA game? out of 4 passes his way towards the end of the 3rd quarter, 3 were drops. that game was a major shoot out, and he caught a huge bomb that would have put them up and probably change the game, but he let the db sneak up and smack the ball out of his hands! which led to the nail in the coffin td.

then, the bad senior bowl. drops, no concentration.

and then the combine. terrible! a continuation of his slump. dropped almost everything, looked real bad in that crossing drill, the one where they throw the ball at you several times while you run across the field. i think he caught 1 ball in that drill.

there were much more reasons for his slide than the crappy senior bowl and the bad combine! it may not be something to "chuckle" at!

but, i like him! i have wanted upgrades at wr for some time. sabans teams seem to NEVER have good qb's, but he just about always has a great wr around.

hope hagan pulls his head out!

really happy to here this i think he was a steal for us and i cant wait to see what he does next to chambers over the next couple years
