What did you guys think of him? I thought besides the 2 catches that he should have made, he played well. I like that way he protects the ball after he catches it. He looks really big on the field.

I thought Hagan looked very good. Good routes, decent speed and generally I think he has solid hands. I accredit the two drops to simply being a rookie. Pressure situation and increased competition level got to him.

I think if he shows improvement, Booker will be gone after this year.

All of our WR played like Rookies yesterday. No one could catch.

(But yeah he played well)

I agree.......He played pretty well for a Rookie and those drop passes was just a lack of experience. Another thing you said he looks big on the field...couldn't agree more....I was surprised as well.

i was at the game and on some of the dropped passes i couldnt really get the best angle to determine if it was just a hard to catch ball or simply the recivers falt, overall though i thought hagan played well he converted on a 3rd and long and had some good grabs for good gains of yards, i would say overall he stepped up and played pretty well

Did you guys not watch the game? Hagan dropped 3 key passes that changed the tempo of the game. That really hurt us. Of course Chambers didn't do anything to shine except for the TD grab. We should trade him for a 2nd Round draft pick.

He had some really bad drops....but I like his ability to get open. I attribute those drops to being nervous; this was really his 1st game where he's received significant playing time.

He's really athletic for his size, he's got some upside.

If you judged Jerry Rice from some of his rookie games......he didn't have the best of hands either.

I was pretty impressed for it being his first real game.

Justin Miller had coverage on him most of the day; and he isn't exactly slow. Hagan beat him pretty bad at times....

He was terrilble

Terrible hands, loses concentration. Protects the ball well and runs very good routes, he may make a better CB then WR the way he catches :sidelol:

Glad we're not jumping to conclusions after 1 game......

true, but some of the passes thrown to him were off as well. That 3rd and 2 we had right before the FG attempt was thrown over his head. The one in the end zone could have been caught...he just tried to bring it in too late. I would have to say for a rookie making his first "start" he did a very good job in my eyes. I think this guy is better than Booker in my opinion. I'm not too hot on Booker anymore either. The guy gets hurt too much and lays on the ground.....im just sayin....

I didn't appreciate the drops, but he does show good potential. He had just better figure it out quick. NFL teams can't afford to have a rookie dropping passes all season while they get used to the league. At least he gets pissed at himself when he drops one. I hate it when receivers just clap and smile after a bad drop.
