I like everyone else have heard the rumors of contracting with 3 or so of the potential top players. Now that we see that Jake Long seems at least to me to be the front runner simply because he was the one with the most coverage and the others were just mentioned in passing. Now one i heard mentioned was Derrick Harvey now i know that he isn't #1 overall pick but could we be looking at him to be there at #32 to be that DE/OLB? the link says he is only 262lbs and i have seen some sources say different they say hes over 270 he is a great athlete and may not have the pedigree of Long but could be a stud defender in the NFL. Now i know nothing is guaranteed with the #1 pick yet but in my opinion Harvey would be a very good pickup i consider him a late first rounder anyway so he may slip to us. And this still gives us a chance to trade JT if we want to.

He won't be there at #32. He'll probably be gone in the top half of the first round, #17 to the Vikes at worst. If he did drop for some reason, YES, he'd be great value at #32.

No way Derrick Harvey drops to #32. Don't get it twisted, I would love it if that was to happen. However, I think the lowest he drops is #17 to Minnesota.

Should be in the draft forum but I doubt he will make it out of the top 20.Some draft sites have him going top 10.NFLdraft countdown had him going to the Pats at #7.

If by chance he did make it to our #2a pick we would have to take him into consideration depending on who else fell to that pick.

He'll be a Bill, and if he gets by them, look for Jax to trade up and take him

forget about it, the trend is to draft pass rushers and there will be a firesale of them in the draft... so many teams are in need of those (jags, vikes, seahawks, arizona, panthers, cleveland, redskins, philadelphia, and the list goes on) ... harvey is gone by 20 and that's an understatement

i just dont get where that would come form he isnt even close to being a late first rounder if he made it past 20 u will have most teams in the league trying to trade up to get him. some ppl think they no things the NFL GM's dont know and it amazes me. lol
