I would've like to keep Pope but I guess he doesn't fit the "prototypical size" Parcells and Ireland want.

I completely agree. I love that Parcells actually has a plan that has proven to work but sometimes you have to wonder how many good football players he's going to pass up because they don't have that prototypical size hes looking for. I mean look at how successfully Polian and Dungy have built the Colts with all those undersized player. Those players wouldn't have even caught Parcells' or Ireland's attention cuz most of em are midgets lol.

The fact that they haven't told him is clear sign that Jake Long will be the pick.

It's a LOCK, FOLKS. We don't have another Tackle on the roster outside of Vernon Carey(Wilson doesn't count).

More like a non-lock. I believe our tackle is coming from the #32 pick and chances are outside of Collins the other LT's will be gone making a RT candidate like Gosder viable.

Pope is easily replaceable. No big deal in losing him.

Maybe but same was said of Welker. Pope is a solid guy that always peformed when called on. There are alot of prototype players that dont do squat.
