DE's Banged Up

More concerned about Jones not playing to be honest. We have some depth on the line, safety depth...concerns me.

I wouldn't say they are nursing injuries. More like nursing a hurt. I doubt Shelby's black eye will be keeping him out long. Hell, this isnt the first time we have seen his face messed up a bit.
 
That was my concern at first too. But we got carved up by Alfred Freakin Morris and the Redskins o line. So now this concerns me as much. Smh. When will it end:boohoo:

Jeez we are already beat up and we're one game into the season. Just like last year.
 
Dammit Mod should change name to include the fact that it's a Blowmar article. I feel mislead.

On topic, as have been stated, if we have to put up with minor injuries and Jones possibly sitting out ...I'm glad it's against Jac cuz the we will need everyone for Buff.

We are fortunate it's not worse.
 
Hoops how much worse can it be than last week even with McCain
 
we had 0 sacks from DE's and word was we couldn't set the edge on either side. are we really gonna miss much?
 
so the initial reports that Jones was only out of the last series because of cramping up was wrong, if he is not able to play, thats a disaster
 
Jones is the only real threat not to play. McCain can play pass rushing downs and Mitchell and Suh are both capable of playing DE on run downs, or maybe even pass downs as well.

I would like to see Neville Hewitt used a few snaps as an in the box safety/LB hybrid. I think they should groom him for that role. He played that in college and was recruited out of HS as a three star safety.
 
our DLine seems like they all will be there playing most likely Sunday... am i wrong?

they are banged up, it happens... but stuff they can play through.

Jones does stink, he is the one I am more worried about myself. But, I wouldnt mind him resting up if best this week... we SHOULD be able to stop the run of the JAX with him absent, since they basically cant run the ball well. We SHOULD NOT make a RB like Denard Robinson look like a Pro-Bowler like we did last year. but we will see... got a couple more days to see how practices go, and how they all feel.
