How much will DeSean cost/want? If it wasnt for $... What would you think of swapping #1's with Philly and getting DeSean?

"Now that Jackson's franchised, the Eagles are hoping a team will offer them more than a third-rounder -- the probable compensation if Jackson were to leave in free agency and Philly didn't go on another free-agency binge. (Compensatory picks are awarded to teams that lost more free agents than they gained.) Philadelphia initially will claim it wants a first-rounder, but privately will take a little less. Long story short: By franchising Jackson, the Eagles put themselves in position to possibly gain a better draft pick if the speedy receiver departs.

However, the Eagles will play hard ball with any potential Jackson trade. With cap room available, they can bring Jackson back for the franchise number if no enticing trade options materialize. This would force the mercurial receiver to prove his worth in a potential walk year. And if he does, Jackson could earn the long-term contract he desires. By tagging Jackson, the Eagles are in full control and don't have to make a deal they don't want to make."

I'll pass on ME-Jax.....we can just pony up $$$ for Bowe or R. Wayne and not give away any draft picks.

Just say NO! He is fairly dynamic, but he also will not run routes in the middle of the field. He is a one trick pony. It's a nice trick, but he is not worth the picks or money required to get a deal done.

Yes. He's a franchise WR and would compliment Marshall very well. All WRs are divas. Who cares if he's selfish? Just catch touchdowns.

But lets say we can get DeSean straight up for just swapping #1's with Philly. Or is it better to give up a 3rd pick and keep our #8 1st rd pick?

need a future right side of line and pass rusher and safety. Cant do that buying expensive recievers. That which we could live fine without. Especially if Wayne comes with Manning. Then maybe all this Finheaven WR love can stop already.

Worth the draft pick? abso-Fing-lutely.

Worth the money he's demanding.... not even close in my eyes.

Check his numbers. He is not an elite WR.

Simply compare his numbers with Pierre Garcon. Garcon is a FA and will probably cost less in $.

Trade with Bengals in the 1st round. with the extra 2nd rounder we get, give it to Eagles for DJax. 1st round get- Nick Perry or DeCastro, 2nd rounders get Fleener and DJax. Only thing our offense is missing is a RT which Jerry or Murtha could fill

Why would we give up draft picks and money for a guy that is arguably only a little bit better than what we had in Ted Ginn, with the bonus of being a diva receiver on top of that? I say arguably only a little better because Ginn has never had anyone throwing to him that is as good as what Jackson has had.
