DeSean Jackson (WR) was just cut...

As bad as things have been as an Eagles fan, Im glad im not an Eagles fan right now. You cut a guy coming off his best year that has to sting.
If I was the redskins I would try to get him but they have limited cap. The Jets and Colts should be all over him.
NE would be a spot but not sure they want to take any chances. There may be something that hasn't came out but based on his history, he would be worth a go for NE.
 
ill take him to keep him away from the jets and pats alone. He upgrades the receivers and the return game. Gives Tanny another weapon.
 
Sign Buttfumble and then cut your best playmaker, it has to be a week of hell for Eagles fans. :lol: :lol:

He didn't say it. He said it was reported on Fox. If he gets charged I'll defend him...easy case.

Uhh, yeah, he can. Is it astronomical? Absolutely. But he most definitely can. Look up the definition of that word if you dont know it. Or can you not get attacked by a shark if you swim in the ocean?

Either way, i set up that volley ball to able to spike down the fact that he has connections to the murders as much as i have a connection to how my best friend from high school beats his girlfriends (very sad to me but true). I know how ridiculous it is to sue, especially some shmuck on a forum. But the beauty of jurisprudence is that you can sue just about anyone for anything.

He clearly types "in connection" to the murders which is false and a defamation to Jackson's character and any reporter doing so better be extremely careful to mention that investigators have cleared him of any wrong doing so it is very clear that "connection" is merely tied to his acquaintances.

But, since you want to be mr. Master debater, swallow it and like it because no matter how trivial the "can" may be, it still exists. The only way it couldnt, would be if the post was never submitted. You have zero debate there. The can exists no matter how slight. Back pedal at your own amusement if you wish.

Gang rumors or not, this would be tough to accept if I were an Eagles fan. He is one of their best players and apparently had trade interest from other teams. That would be like the Dolphins deciding to just cut Mike Wallace or Cameron Wake today. Granted neither of those two have the gang rumors over them, but still has to suck as a fan. I live in Eagles country, so I can't wait to start seeing the reaction to this.

Off field concerns likely takes Miami out of the conversation for him. My bet is he ends up with the Jets, character concerns obviously is not an issue for Rex and Idzik. Plus, they needs receivers badly.
 
Something tells me there is a lot more to this story that will leak out over the next few days.

Cutting DJax makes absolutely no football sense, so there must be some other major issue out there driving this. The PFT article even says there was interest from teams regarding a trade...but they decided to cut him anyway. I suspect there is more to come and "buyer beware"....

It is puzzling. If there was some interest, why not take what you can get? Sure, as a player he is worth more than a 3rd round pick but it's better than nothing

uummm Jackson isn't going to win the case lol.

Jackson was, however, associated with Theron Shakir, one of the two men charged with the murder. Along with co-defendant Marques Binns, Shakir is a purported member of the Crips. In addition, Shakir, known as "T-Ron," is a rapper who recorded for Jaccpot Records, a label owned by Jackson. The two were close enough that they appear together frequently in photographs -- including pictures posted by Jackson to Instagram while Shakir sat in jail awaiting trial for the teen's execution.
