if you watched the monday night game, im sure you saw the play where jackson just simply outran everybody on the field and caught a bomb from mcnabb. Jackson isnt faster than ginn. There is no reason why ginn cant do the same thing for this team EXCEPT our qb (pennington) cannot get him the ball deep. Who's fault is that? Ginn was brought in to stretch the field and open up the middle and the running game. if we dont have a qb that can stretch the field as well, it takes away his strength. the guy isnt 230lbs like Boldin and Fitz...so he isnt going to use his body the way they do. Half the problem with the guy is that he isnt used correctly by this staff. do you remember the flea flicker in game one with ricky williams? (he didnt get the ball back to pennington) Ginn was wide open.

the other thing that is just so obvios is this guy can take BOTH punts and kicks to the house, and Sparano is just a flat out idiot for not using the guy. yeah bess is ok...and can get you 20 yards...he doesnt scare anybody...and hes not taking one the distance.

I just hope Ginn's confidence isnt destroyed by this staff and the bad press by the time Henne or Beck see the field and he is used right.

Ginn was brought in because a family friend did him a favor. Ginn is not NFL material. Yes, he's fast and he's an exciting punt returner, but let's be honest here, he'll never make it in big boy football as a receiver. No chance. Stop kidding yourself. Chad Pennington can't and never will get Ginn the deep ball. This team is a sitting duck week in and week out. We can't throw it deep and we're not running the ball effectively. We have the worst secondary in NFL history and our opponent's Qb's are dreaming of lighting us up. They're circling us on the calendar. I'm sick of watching this team lose year in and year out but we're just going to have to stick it out and hope things get turned around soon.

wow jcane maybe its time for u 2 pick a different team cause it seems that u have absoulty 0 hope

Yea I am sure Cameron told the GM and the Vice President and the President and the owner of the Miami Dolphins that "hey I am going to go ahead and give millions of dollars to a player based solely on the friendship I have with the family. Oh yeah I am going to do all of this as a first year head coach." Yeah I am sure that is exactly what happened.

Just a random thought, but if Ginn was a CB for so long, maybe we should try him at it. He was a top prospect coming out of high school if I'm not mistaken. It may be a good move for him.

I'm not "picking" a different team. I never "picked" this one. It's my heart. It's my home. It's tattooed on my right arm. I'm a fan of this team for life. It's not that I don't have any hope. Hope keeps me as a fan. It's the fact that I don't have a lot of confidence in the team right now. I have all of the confidence in the world in Bill Parcells turning this ship around. It's going to take some time for Bill to weed out the slackers and get the right personnel on the field. That's all there is to it.

Now, the problem that I have is fans being delusional and thinking that we should compete for a playoff spot THIS year by tweaking the current roster. Wake up. It's not going to happen. When a rational thinking fan like myself looks at the team objectively and not through the orange and teal glasses, I'll get attacked. We are a pathetic tackle football team right now. You watch the games on Sunday just like I do. I don't know what you're seeing that's giving you hope for this year but I'd love to hear about it. Sunday's game against the Cardinals was one of the worst played games I have ever seen in our history. It was as hard to watch as Marino's last game in which we were murdered by Mark Brunell and the Jaguars.

I'm not turning my back on this team by any means. I'm just sick of losing every single year and nothing ever changing. I'm ready to see some progress in this team and we're not seeing it. People want to talk about the improvement and hope this team showed during the preseason; whatever. There's a direct correlation between the preseason record being a very good indicator of how your regular season will be. The more games you win in the preseason season, the worse you will be in the regular season. Look it up. we were 3 - 1. Don't expect too much. Indianapolis won only 1 game. The Lions were undefeated. The Patriots went winless. Usually, the more you win in the preseason, the worse you will be in the regular season. There are a few exceptions such as the Browns who were 0 - 4. They won't be much better in the regular season.

Fact is, we're a very bad football team right now. I don't expect us to show much improvement against New England this week but I expected more against Arizona. Arizona is an average team with quarterback issues and Kurt Warner looked like he was with the 1998 Rams against our secondary. Don't try to convince yourself that we're not as bad as we look on paper or on television. We're bad. We just have to deal with it.

Well said. It hurts too watch this team play, but this is what we are stuck with. I tried too stop watching but it is harder then quitting smoking. Then I think about how many holes we have on this team and try too figure out how long it will take b/4 we have a good team.:boohoo:

The differece between Ginn & Jackson is the arm getting them the ball.

Yeah that play was just Jackson running as fast as he good and McNabb heaved it up as far as he could. Plus if that had been Ginn, I am pretty confident that he would not have thrown the ball behind him before running into the endzone.

Lets be real, McNabb has a cannon, Chad P . . . well lets just say they don't compare.

Jackson plays bigger than his size.... Ginn is having problems getting off the line ... with contact .... he is afaid to chase down a ball on KR/PR in stead opting to let it bounce 10 yds......

dont throw CP under the bus

We have the worst secondary in NFL history and our opponent's Qb's are dreaming of lighting us up.

Ok??? Let's review..... We faced A. Boldin and L. Fittz (phenoms)
These two are TOP TIER WR, and it's as simple as that gets.....
If Matt Leinart was starting that is a COMPLETELY different game. But he wasnt....

It was Kurt Warner, a very respectable QB and NFL veteran. This guy makes his living shredding secondaries and with weapons like 81 and 11, he can shred 95% of the secondaries in the league.

Ok, we're the worst secondary in league history???
Then you are the worst dolphins fan in organization history. :shakeno:

Ginn weighs 175 lbs. who the heck is he tackling?

You are correct sir. McNabb is one of the best QB's in the NFL when healthy. Just look at what he did last night with both his 1st and 2nd WR out with injury.
