Maria & LauRen Aha!
sounds like we got a great deal http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/columns/20020909/insidedishtheeaglesdraft.html:
The Dolphins' waiver claim of TE Desmond Clark was a good deal for both sides. Clark wanted to play in Miami, so he agreed to reduce his salary from $1.2 million to $450,000, with incentives that could recoup the money he gave back. The Dolphins get a player who had the fifth-most catches of any NFL tight end last year for their new offense, which will feature two tight ends prominently.
