Foul trouble for the other guys, no foul trouble for themselves. Injury trouble for the other guys, none for themselves. Ben Wallace actually contributing...

So if they lose tonight, do you think they'll give their opponent some credit?

if they win, in their minds, they can still go for the sweep. it would be pistons 1, spurs 0, refs 2...

with the pistons' logic, at least no nba team will ever beat them. they only beat themselves, or the refs beat them. they'll stay champs forever!

I was really suprised to see the Pistons turning it aorund and just stomping all over the Spurs lastnight. The Pistons played like the game 1 and 2 Spurs, while the Spurs played like the game 1 and 2 Pistons in lastnights game. The Pistons better be playing the rest of the series like what they played in lastnights game if they want to win it all.

all those heat fans are really annoying in their press conferences, aren't they? they really tarnish the reputation of sportsmanship. kids are always looking to those heat fans for how to compete and win and lose...

anyway, what is the correct disparity in team fouls for the game not to be part of the conspiracy? i was wondering that. maybe brown or wallace can make a statement? in game five of the eastern conference finals, detroit had one more team foul than miami. after the game, wallace and brown both said the conspiracy was on. do they have such a keen sense of justice that the team fouls must be even? or is it more like it has to be 2:1, more fouls for the other guys? last night, san antonio had 3 more fouls than detroit. was that acceptable or was it part of the conspiracy that the pistons just overcame?

At least we are not blaming conspiracy's, we are blaming actual things that really happened.

The Pistons are a joke and a horrible presentation of what a champion looks like.

Have they committed a foul yet? Or is every call that goes against them a bad call? I swear that the Pistons cried and complained about EVERY single call that went against them in game 2 of the Spurs game....then blamed officiating for losing by 465 points.

The Pistons are a joke.

Those Celtics and laker teams of the 80's are rolling in their graves.

Exactly. When the Heat/Piston series was going on I remember many people on here complaining that the Pistons only won because of the refs.:shakeno: I think this happened with every Piston win except game 7.

Now as for the finals I still think the Spurs should win it in 6 which was my original perdiction. I think if the Spurs take one game in Detriot then they will finish it at home in game 6.

The Pistons have to complain every call or they can't win. They couldn't beat an injury plagued Heat team without bitching and moaning, and they damn sure won't beat the Spurs without doing the same. I agree with everything you said. The Pistons are a disgrace.
 
Detroit better enjoy the home cooking,....lucky for them this 7 game series is a
2-3-1-1 format.....I think the Pistons may win one more but Spurs take it in 6.
 
injuries are a part of a fair athletic competition. they happen, but it's part of the game. miami should have stayed healthy. that might have helped them in the series. conspiracies, on the other hand, invalidate the entire competition. so either i win, or the competition is invalid. again, i'm not talking about FANS here, i'm talking about PLAYERS and COACHES. fans are going to say what they will. why do the pistons' players and coaches feel they need to invalidate the entire competition if they don't win? isn't that infantile behavior? or is it okay, because some heat FANS complained, too?
