Lions | Team officials take J. Thomas out to dinner Monday
Tue, 23 Jan 2007 20:19:35 -0800
Shawn Windsor, of the Detroit Free Press, reports Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Mike Martz said a couple of team officials took Wisconsin OT Joe Thomas out to dinner Monday, Jan. 22.

Brady Quinn stock is falling to #9. Come home to the Dolphins kiddo!

Awesome news... With Quinn not playing in the Senior Bowl, his stock will surely fall. Plus I read that Marinelli said hes sticking with Kitna next year. That plus the fact that Kevin Jones injury might be serious so they may need to help that Oline or even get a Rb.

Now we need Cleveland, The Bucs and The Vikings to pass up on Quinn, and I think Crennel wants this kid......

Quinn won't get past the Browns!

Yeah he is a Pipe Dream, he has said he wants to go to Cleveland. Frye threw 17 INT this season and only 10 TD. Crennel will know everything about him from his boy Charlie. Quinn will be a Brown.

We could have a forum that was totally focused on what team was shmoozing what player at the Senior Bowl. Happens every year.

I still don't think the Lions will pass on Quinn. After skipping Leinart and Cutler last year you would figure ONE of these days Matt Millen would do one thing correctly.

After pulling out of the game late in the process, Brady Quinn of Notre Dame stepped in front of a small gathering of the media here Sunday night. Quinn explained the injury was a bursar sac in his right knee and was recommended to sit this one out by renowned orthopedist Dr. James Andrews. While many are still skeptical about the whole situation Quinn hung around for two days and interviewed with NFL teams, facing the music.

Im pretty sure that Quinn would get past the Vikings with them drafting Travarous Jackson last year and the Bucs got two young guys at quarterback and other needs, but he wont get past the Browns. But if he does then i would think we stand a chance.

Sorry I can't see it and the Panthers might trade up. Also the Bucs might do it regardless of the young QBs who are question marks.

Browns might not be happy with the RB they have. Reuban Drouhns or whatever... I think there's a good chance that Quinn falls to us. Even then, we still might not take him. I think you HAVE to though.

The elite NFL prospects rarely participate in the Senior Bowl. It surely won't hurt his stock.

That's awesome. I don't think Quinn is the right guy for Martz' system anyways which is just a chuck-fest. He's belongs in a more balanced system, hopefully like the one Cam will use.
