DeVante Parker carted off the field!?!?

The injury watch is on for tackle Ju’Wuan James and receiver DeVante Parker. James was in a boot after being carted off with a toe injury in the first half. If it’s turf toe, that can be a frustrating path back. As for Parker, he was listed as “questionable” to return by the Dolphins after suffering a fourth-quarter injury to his left foot. That’s the one he already has two surgeries on. Parker said it wasn’t serious and he’d be fine. He also was limping after the game. We’ll have to see where this goes, but it’s not a good sign the No. 1 pick keeps having foot issues.

This was from Hyde which is not want Armando said (no limping) so we have no idea at this point I guess.. :idk:

Would have loved to have landed Gurley, but zero chance. DVP was the best player available. Hindsight won't change that.

Was sick when Gurley got picked before us...but no question DVP was the best player on the board at our pick..

Tissue issue = grab a box of Kleenexes and starting crying.

A real tissue issue.

Devante was easily the best player available at the time and a lot of teams even had him as the the 1 receiver on their draft board. Out of all the receivers Dvp had the best hands, was the best release technician, and was the best at YAC.

Campbell said DeVante Parker (foot) is "fine."

To be fair, Kevin Johnson would help this team right now and be a longterm answer at CB. Plus, Kendricks has played nice football. I loved Mel Gordon and he has sucked so I cannot say much about that to this point.

So Parker was carted off and didn't return but he's fine??? Weird.

I don't know, foot injuries like that can be a real bitch.

Something tells me he will continue to dress but not be utilized much. Why are out 1st round picks mysteries?

Parker will be fine. Seems a lot of people are down on Parker. To me I am ok with going slow with him. Let him work hard, improve and settle in. I think one of the few strengths of the team is WR. All young and good. My hope is they keep them all together to mature. First step is to resign Matthews. Moving forward with a talented group that appears to have no attitude issues will allow focus on other areas.

I was one of the few that preferred to move down to secure gurley. That kid came out producing.

That being said, this site will go to the extreme and jump ship and a mere rumor or the slightest report.

Looks like its gonna take an injury for this kid to get any gameplan emphasis
