Dolphins receiver DeVante Parker says more in a day on social media than he does most weeks to reporters.
The famously shy Parker lets loose on Twitter. He feeds on disrespect and doubt. Just check out his bio: “Believe When Nobody Else Will.”
Parker was feisty late Wednesday, clapping back at those who wonder if he will ever live up to his first-round billing.
Parker wrote:

The message was received by teammates, past and present. Teddy Bridgewater, the Jets quarterback who threw passes to Parker at Louisville, and Isaac Asiata, the Dolphins’ second-year guard, both responded with support.
As for the Dolphins? They just hope that the swagger they see in practice will finally translate into sustained success on Sundays.

He should have amended that statement by saying,"But it does not seem to work that way for me."

I hope Parker finally does break out and proves all the doubters wrong in 2018. It will be sweet if the entire Dolphins team shoves a huge helping of crow down the throats of all those laughing and writing them off in 2018.

All joking aside, I want him to step up and show his talent. I would not mind being wrong about him. I just don't think it will happen.

From the linked article:
One reason the Dolphins settled on Brock Osweiler instead of Chad Henne, who they also reached out to: Osweiler agreed to a modest deal of $790,000 in base salary with a $90,000 signing bonus and $720,000 guarantee.

Henne would have been more costly: The Chiefs gave him two years and $6.7 million, plus performance bonuses. He got a $3.1 million signing bonus. So he gets $5.15 million if he’s on the team only one year.
WTF!

No way the Dolphins pick up the 5th year option at ($15+million?)
on a player who needs a GPS in his backside to find the endzone.
at least Hartline, who needed that same GPS unit actually went over 1000
yards receiving twice.

In typical Dolphins luck, he will be let go after his rookie deal and will explode and be the guy we hoped for with his next team

I hope he finally breaks out this year, we are a much more dangerous team if he can live up to the hype. The option is a no brainer to pick up as it only guarantees in case of injury.

Well as Dolphin fans we should hope he feels disrespected and has a good year right?

He basically looked liked he totally lost confidence in himself at the end of last year so whatever it takes.... I guess.
