How does everyone else feel about this guy? I haven't seen anything special. Looks like he struggles to get separation, catch contested balls or stay on the field. Had a couple forced targets on Sunday for nothing, dropped a TD pass in he first quarter, what do y'all think?

Whole team had looked crappy until yesterday. Hard to say. I need to see this whole season before evaluating him. It seems like he has all the tools to play at a really high level

Its his second year...his development has been delayed due to injury, but for a 2nd year WR he is looking OK...not special though...

Why does there have to be that small group of fans that just can't wait to look for the negatives and poo poo on the good feels?

IMHO, he's a great player. But I think he may be a tad lazy, and Gase is trying to cure him of that bad habit. His talent is amazing though.

He dropped a pass but it was a tough catch and got hit hard. I'm not even sure if he played 16 games in the NFL yet with all the injuries.

if you watch the all22 he had opportunities downfield 1v1 and did not get the ball. hes just not going to get a lot of chances with what we're doing on offense. our QB threw 24 of 31 passes less than 10 yards.

He's a big play guy and he is streaky. He has been given very few opportunities downfield but has shown an ability to have a magnetism for the deep ball even when reasonably well covered. I was critical of the way he played in preseason and I do think he is better at making plays downfield than he is at the medium stuff, but luckily we have the best receiver in the league at that on the other side. I'm not critical on him for that non-catch, that ball was leading him right into a safety and I've seen too many Dolphins receivers have horrible injuries and even a career-ender on passes leading them into a defender. He didn't get lit up on that play because he didn't sell out, which is why he didn't catch the ball.

Devante is fine. Give him some time he's still figuring it out. This team has SUCKED until Sunday against the Steelers. I mean really like Cam Cameron sucked! We were the worse team in the league by a shot.

Look....he'll get better and be a nice end zone target and deep threat....but he'll never have Landry's heart.

I will be estatic if he starts doing what he did at the end of last season.

His big negative that I see is that he runs lazy routes from time to time. He needs to clean that up to get better separation. If he can do that then I think he has an outstanding upside.

I would like to see Tannehill go to Parker more so he keeps growing as a player. Not saying I want us to be pass happy. I like the balance we had against the Steelers. However, because teams are trying to take away Landry, I think there will come a time when we are going to need Parker to take over a game. He has the size and hands. I think he can do it.
