If we are so worried about continuity and development of our players then why do we have a defensive coordinator that can't find a position for Dion Jordan. I mean he was only a number 3 draft pick. Maybe chip Kelly will put Dion Jordan out of his mysery and trade for him now that he has total say of personnel. Ridiculous! Or maybe the colts will give us there late 2nd rounder for him. They play a 3-4 he would look awesome in that role. Maybe he is just another Vernon Gholston, I just tend to believe his coordinator is a jack azz, head coach is too. I guess all we can hope for is to score 40 a game and still be 8-8! I Am a Optimist but even I know our coaches are jokes except for Lazor.

We probably couldn't get a 4th round Draft pick for Dion Jordan now. Mackenzy, the 16 year old prospective NFL scout was 100% correct in predicting that Jordan was ridiculously overdrafted.
I am of the view that we continue to try to develop Dion. For Ireland to have become so mesmerised by him, it's very unusual. The Jordan example serves as a timely reminder not to get carried away by the Combine result metrics and pass rushing DE's are high risk Draft picks.
