He didn't do it for himself. He did it for his mom. I'm glad he got drafted so he could fulfill that promise.

True, but imagine the millions he probably left on the table by comming out early, tho I understand personal reasons always play a factor in your decision making process . . I think he was a first rounder after one more year at UM. When u are considered to be possibly more explosive than Reggie Bush on Special Teams, that is saying something about your talent. I wish him well, and I know he will make an impact this year in the return game for Chicago.
 
The best athlete in the draft. Better than Reggie Bush. If he wasnt so dumb and could learn the playbook he could have been a number one overall pick. So much talent wasted because hes to dumb and lazy to learn the playbook. Cant play defense because he cant read coverages and cant play offense because hes to uuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhh, slow to learn the plays. What a shame. So much talent ad athleticism wasted.
 
I'm starting to really wonder if its the coaches at Miami. Its just crazy to see the talent of Hester and Willie Williams wasted because these guys aren't learning the coverages and schemes . . I don't know the whole story and if the player just refuses to learn the book, he doesn't need to be playing, plain and simple, but I think these guys just aren't being coached up enough and are frustrated . . either way they gotta change sumthin down there at the "U".
 
I dont care what anybody says, Devin Hester is more Athletic and Explosive and has more raw skills than Reggie Bush. None of Bush's kickoff returns are as nice as Hester's. I was at that Duke game and they were so worried he would get the ball after those two returns that they kicked it about fifteen yards and out of bounds which forced miami to put in another returner. He has special talent but will probably never put it to use.
 
Hester just had a 54 yard punt return. He's had about 3 or 4 big returns this pre-season. Guy is just amazing.
