Do we give him a shot? 2008 second round pick WR. he has return ability i think hes worth a look

He averaged 22 yards per return with a long of 39 last year. This year his average is 28 (ranked 10th in the NFL) with a long of 42. I usually don't pay attention to these threads harping at the latest teams trash, but the special teams play has been so horrendous that I'm willing to take a flyer on someone with potential to help the unit.

if healthy why not give the guy a look. As a returnman he would be an upgrade over what we have. He was considered the best WR prospect in the 2008 draft by many people. Im sure we would not have to cut anyone good to pick him up

I wouldnt mind picking him up as a PR/KR player he has the tools to be a good WR he just hasnt done it yet i wouldnt mind bringing him in for a tryout

he's a Miami Native as well if I'm not mistaken

His receiving skills leave alot to be desired especially since how inconsistent the Redskins regime(s) have been through the years. He's definitely shown flashes but at times he can be frustrated to watch b/c you constantly wait for the "light to come on for him".

Well for one thing he's not a WR.......if he can run the 100m in 6sec take a look as a return man.......:chuckle:

Sure why not! We turnover the bottom 5-10 spots on out roster every week. Why not add a return instead of big slow linemen!

Didn't we sign "pro-bowler" Clifton Davis for basically the same reason...to boost our sagging return game?

Yes, we did. And we got his filling's loosened for very few "extra" yards.

Which only shows the guy running it is the small part of the problem.

The biggest Special Teams problems are those blocking & tackling. C'mon coaches, what are you watching & analyzing!! (Similar to our Running problems & Defense problems = Line play.)

There is no worse Than what we have. why not?

He can't play WR & not nearly as talented as Pro Bowler Peanut Davis who didn't work out so good either ... the problem is blocking/tackling!!

We need to find a couple Larry Izzo types!!
