If the FO cuts Devlin, they are just plain stupid and I will lose any hope that I have left, for them.. This kid is raw as they come, but he has "it"... A little tweakin here and there and he will become a franchise QB... if not for us, then whomever picks him up..

Thats my take and I'm sticking to it..
 
I have many problems with this regime but seriously people are going overboard on a player who has not shown all that much
 
Guys, it's way too early in the kid's career to call it one way or the other
 
I think the kid has something special too. Pocket awareness and accuracy. But, the thing that really sticks out is his timing. I see the kind of timing in his passes that you can't teach. Thats what will make him a special player in the future.
 
if by 'it' you mean the skinniest arms i've ever seen - then yes - he has 'it'.

i did like what i saw though. force feed that kid some donuts.
 
honestly i never got the hype that our draft "gurus" on this board have given him. he never wowed me in college or now. if he was so great he would have been drafted. i heard alot of good things about him, but when i watch him i dont see it. idk
 
Devlin is better than Moore right now, and way better than Froman. If this clueless organization lets him get away, they will lose the franchise QB they needed. I don't know why they signed him in the first place if they weren't serious about keeping him anyway. Stinking Mat Moore gets automatic #2 just because he's from Dallas even though "he sucks in practice."
 
some people say what has devlin done look he a rookie learning the playbook
many good to great qb didn't look good in the beginning it took brees a while
it has taken henne a while and we are still not sure henne is the man.

I think if they invest the time in devlin it will pay off he has accuracy and timing
if devlin can beef up even better as he should.. and grow a beard :p

Tony Romo wasnt drafter either, and Tammy Buttchin was takin in the 6th round, whereas Jamarcus Russell was taken first overall........just sayin...


If we can shelve the kid for 2-3 years, I think he has LOTS of upside. Doesn't hurt to have him occupy a roster spot while we see how he develops.

Love how this FO is clueless unless they keep a player an internet GM thinks is the next greatest.
 
I'd rather keep 3 QB's than 6 WR's. If we put Devlin on our PS he will be claimed by another team no doubt. He had many offers as an UDFA.
 
receivers are easier to find than QB
so if you think you have good potential with a #3 QB
that could be the man someday you keep him..

Though it looks like the dolphins are looking at other QB'S
Could they be playing the ultimate smoke screen of looking at other QB'S
To discourage other teams into thinking devlin blows chunks so nobody picks him up
then sneak Devlin onto practice squad or am i over analyzing a hope i have we keep devlin :p
