If Devlin goes to Practice Squad...he's gone faster than a dozen ribs on Oprah's plate......
 
I'm not saying he is franchise QB material RIGHT NOW... All I did say is with the proper coaching/instructions/mentor.. he can become a franchise QB if taught properly, because he has that special something that all great QB have..

Long story short.. When I first got on the internet, I was into 4 wheelin... since then, I got into muscle cars and drag racing...
 
Pat Devlin has way too much potential (he's actually my starting QB in Madden 2012 lol). But really, putting him on the practice squad would guarantee someone takes him immediately. Personally I think Moore did a better job than Henne at times, but that's just me.

Nobody is saying Devlin is the franchise QB at all; I mean look at Tom Brady...what, a 6th round pick? 3rd stringer til his 4-5th year? And now look at him.

The guy just has potential.
 
Thats all I'm saying.. from the brief appearance in preseason, its sooooooo easy to see that Devlin has a boatload up potential... If the FO cant see this, they have no business being in this business...

BTW... I agree with you Chris... I think Moore (at times) has done a better job than Henne...
 
He'll probably be cut. If the FO sees anything in him he will land on the practice squad ... that will be the "tell."

Ive seen worse quarterbacks anointed starters this year
Who you rather have tavaris jackson or devlin
John beck or devlin pat white or devlin thigpen or devlin
rex grossman or devlin colt mccoy or devlin favre or devlin
Jake Delhomme (4) / Seneca Wallace (4) or devlin
Brady Quinn (9) / Derek Anderson (7) or devlin
Kerry Collins (6) Brodie Croyle (1)or devlin
Jason Campbell (12) / Bruce Gradkowski JaMarcus Russell (4) or devlin
far more questionable quarterbacks had more opportunities
lets see what the rookie has...
 
I have been singing this guy's praises since February. If it hadn't been for the lockout, he would have had all the OTA experience and would have been much further along in the system. I said it before and I will say it again, he is a younger version of Chad Pennington with a better arm.
 
Will prove to be one of the best QBs of this rookie class even though not drafted.
