If anybody has a chance to watch the cotton bowl today check this guy out.I know we have much bigger needs than a quick running back, but this guy is a playmaker!I also know he is preety small at 170lbs ,but he plays with alot of heart.Would be a great compliment to Ronnie and Rickys power attack.

The guy is a big play waiting to happen. Very dangerous out on the edges and on screens.

He just broke off an 86 yard run for a TD

Ehh, too small for the NFL in all honesty. 170 lbs? no possibly way he can go up the middle.. if he was there in the 6th im all for it.. a combo of him and Toby would be sick

When do you ever see the F.Jones, D.Sproles, L.Washington's go up the middle?

Dexter was the mvp last year in a bowl game and with 32 carries and five passes,2 touchdowns and almost 200 yards today he is on his way to another mvp.

Once Ronnie went down it became painfully obvious that this offense seriously lacks any sort of playmaking ability. We have some decent players at receiver but they really don't scare anyone. Ginn is really the only (potential) explosive threat we currently have on offense, and depending on him has proved costly.

We need to draft one playmaker on offense this year. Whether it be someone like CJ Spiller in the first if he somehow slips, or a big play WR like Golden Tate or Mardy Gilyard, we need an upgrade. McCluster fits the description and could likely be had a lot later than any of those guys.

you know i don't normally like that size but this kid is the exception...he's just a damn good football player and i think somebody's gonna get a heck of a weapon by the end of the 3rd round on draft day in him...

i just can't see a guy that productive, fearless, multitalented lasting any longer despite the lack of measurables

i really like the way he puts his foot in the ground and gets vertical...

I posted about this guy a couple months ago when he ran for over 200 yards and 4 TD's on Tennessee. I think he will be a first day pick. I think he will be the next Jones-Drew and Sproles. I wouldn't be mad if we rolled the dice on him in the 3rd round.

Remember the Scat back we had when Bill 1st got here, Lorenzo Booker 5-10 191lbs.

Then he was traded before he could even play one game under Bill , then we went out and pick up Jalen Parmele 5-11 224 and Lex Hilliard 5-11 231.

Bill likes Big players over small fast ones,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Why? Because at the end of the game the Big players are still as Big as they were when the game started but the small fast guy are not as fast and still small.

And Before someone brings up Dave Meggett 5-7 190

He was built like a man, not a JV kid like Dexter ,and was lets not forget Dave ran like a 220 pound guy and Bill was always trying to replace him but just couldn't get him out of the game.

Anyways Dexter is a great college player that doesn't fit the system we run, just like the DE Morgan.

I would take a chance on him. Playing in the SEC he has seen big fast NFL type defenders his whole career and hasnt been banged up. Get this guy put him on punts and kicks and 3rd down back and watch him work.
