Here's a thread I did before on other forums, and a bit here. The intent was/is to have one thread of many where everyone would post nothing but good news for our team. Thought it might be some fun with little else to talk about.

So how may things can everyone come up with, ONLY GOOD NEWS, from this offseason and projecting into this year? It may surprise some Phans.

I'll start with Lazor and Benton being upgrades over Sherman and Turner.

Next?

I wholly agree with the first two and think we also got a huge upgrade in GM as well....go fins!

We have a GM who at least appears to know how to choose players based upon how they fit with the team in addition to their physical potential. He also appears to work well with our coach which might, dare I say...create an environment of teamwork!

This year, Miami's pass-rush might be scary...I mean truly scary.

Our LB's have to be better. No way they can be as bad as last year.

The "sophomores" appear to be healthy and ready to contribute A LOT more this year, Dallas Thomas has been a very pleasant surprise ;-)

Considering this year Miami will not have Soliai in the middle in the D-line, Misi better be even better then the most optimist of us expect of him...I may be out of my mind, but I think Misi will be good enough to at the very least, slow the bleeding enough where running up the middle will not be a gimme.

I'm thinking the same. Misi has been a run stop machine since he got here, ranking mostly in the top ten. I believe he can pull off the change on first and second downs. which is all he needs to do, and as Coyle said, when Misi stops you, you stay stopped or, something close.

I we are going to get solid contributions from our 2013 draftees this year!
