Diamond Released/Could Carter Be Gone?

OMG they better not F'ing cut Kevin Carter.

COME ON NFL, GET THE DAMN CBA EXTENDED!!!!!!!!!!! :fire:
 
I really hope Carter restructures.. he brings some decent veteren leadership to the team. with the high chances of seau going away.. it would be nice to keep a handful of vets :rolleyes2
 
Carter will restructure. I remember reading somewhere that this is his last stop, so when he is done in Miami he is retiring. He is definitely not ready to retire, and he definitely seems like a team guy. Shouldnt be a problem.

Releasing Diamond is an odd decision? To cut him to save only 400 000?

I think we cut him so Teyo Johnson could take his place with Alex Holmes maybe taking the 3rd spot. We don't need 4 tightends so it seems logical.
 
Man I hope they keep Carter, if not we are going to have a really young and inexpierienced Defence.
 
Man Carter has become one of my favorite Dolphins, a True Class act. I really hope he's around :(
 
Carter is an awesome player. I really hope he stays. The guy never gets hurt, gives it all, gets to the QB a good amount of times and stops the run well.

Diamond...I think he will be a decent player eventualy, but we have Holmes and McMike and didnt really need him

Alex Marvez, of the Sun-Sentinel, reports Miami Dolphins DL Kevin Carter is a possible salary cap vicitm if there is no collective bargaining agreement extension. Carter carries a $5.4 million cap number for the 2006 season. The team has approached him about restructuring his contract.
 
I like Carter too but we need the money to get Brees and maybe an o-lineman and a safety....I'm hoping he's still with us but Roth will get his chance to play more if Carter is gone....I think Roth is gonna be a very good player for us if he gets the chance to play more and Vickerson is coming back too.....we need Carter but Saban said he wants to get younger on defence so we'll see what happens....maybe he'll take less to stay.
