That might have been a good trade for us considering our receivers blow(well Ginn blows, the other guys despite being solid players, lets face it, they arent gamebreakers) and we have talent at RB with or without Ronnie. Ronnie is a good player though.

i know that would have been probably the worst trade i have ever seen
Ugh, the front office that considered that move is the one currently running it.
And yet, all the phin fans this week have been trying to diss Edwards all week, and now we learn Miami actually wanted the player to team up with Henne.
Oh well.

Yeah, I heard. I don't know exactly what to make of it, but I heard it.
No he said last spring, so it was Ireland and Parcells!!!! I am quickly losing faith in the trifecta if that is in fact true. What the heck do they have against Ronnie Brown????

Somehow if it did happen, pretty sure this entire board would have jerked off about it, and provided support for Williams and Cobbs to step up for the running game.
It actually would have made sense, the phins are awful at WR, and have several pretty good RB's, Ronnie is in his contract year, what to do after this season, with players like Ricky?
It probably would have been a good move.
I mentioned Rick Speilman because he would have likely made that trade, unlike our current FO which has football knowledge.

Maybe they might be inclined to pull a big trade for Bowe not involving brown? hope they were including their 1st rounder for the next 6 years (CLE that is)

Ted Ginn blows and Ronnie, despite being a good player is overvalued by most of you guys around here.
We need a big play WR.
Edwards and Henne have already established a comfort level with each others play.
Considering that we have great depth at RB, I think it wouldve been a good move for us. Especially if we threw Ginn into the deal and gotten some kind of draft selection in return as well as Edwards.
But they are the folks who discussed the trade, how the hell can you give them props for not making it, when they were the ones who wanted to do it?
I would give them Ronnie for Bowe in a heartbeat.
