I haven't gone back and watched it yet but..The reverse the Bucs ran on the punt return looked like a forward lateral to me. If so, it is reviewable and would have been a huge change in field position. Obviously the announcers never pointed it out..I thought it was forward. I wonder if the joke of a coaching staff even watched it again upstairs

Unfortunately I couldn't hit the delete button fast enough, on my recording on my DVR of this game, so I wont be able to rewatch it..

:idk: It looked legit to me at the time.

Then again, I was several beers deep, so ...

Hopefully someone chimes in here...I watched during the game twice and looked forward. I could be wrong. The biggest question id did the Dolphins staff even think to look at it?

I was too. But, as soon as it happened I told my buddy (Saints fan) so no bias "That was forward" We replayed it and he agreed. I said, "they will show a slow replay" of course they never did

I didn't notice it. I did notice the questionable spot on Tim Wright's 2nd and 19 reception deep in Bucs territory. I have a great screen shot but I need something called vcash to post it... I give up.

the term 'clutching at straws' springs to mind with this thread.

We were pretty much outplayed in every department in the first half against a 0-8 Bucs team - even Philbin admitted it.

I mentioned this in an earlier thread if Goldson doesn't give up a personal yard penalty which led to the Fins 1st td, which ultimately gave us some momentum into the second half, the scoreline might have ended up embarrassing for Miami who looked totally out of it.

I agree, I wasn't clutching at straws. I realize the deserved to lose, but thank Genius. I was curious if anyone else saw it. Or, if the coaching staff even noticed it

C'mon there has to be somebody not at work with the game recorded who can go check this out. I am just curious

right to answer your burning question thanks to my bro who has an NFL Gamepass account we checked that indeed your correct that it sort of looked like a forward lateral pass (in all fairness the tv view probably makes it worse than it really was from being just a lateral pass)

However, the Phins also encountered a player going out of bounds penalty during the same play so I'm unsure what could have actually come of a challenge. What is also a smack in the mouth is then seeing Dave Wanny on the sideline as the Bucs special team coach!
