I think it is funny how he is sending out E-Mails to make the players, and their union seem like it is their fault they did not come to an agreement. I wish there was a way to tell who is telling the truth about what was offered and put on the table in those talks behind closed doors.

Both sides will lie now to try and get the sympathy of the fans.

It is Pathetic if you ask me.

Get the DEAL done!

I got that stupid e-mail as well. I'm tired of this rhetoric. Don't speak until a deal is done.

Well, apparently the players want to know more about the owners finances. Hmm, do we the people get to know about our bosses and companies finances? Nope. The players want more money, as if they dont make enough. The players want better healthcare...well, then dont play football. Plus, do we get to demand better healthcare from our bosses? The players dont seem to want to give in to a rookie wage scale; so let the rookies who've proven nothing make millions (sometimes even more than vets who work like dogs to play).

I blame the players. Take a pay cut and shut your mouth; either that...or go bag groceries. I'll miss football, but Im glad the owners are standing ground.

Sorry to say but you are dead wrong here. The OWNERS want more money. Players even offered to take a pay cut and that wasn't enough to the greedy owners.

you guys got it too???? i thought i was special, lmao. i agree that both sides are going to try to make the other one the one at fault. this whole thing is b.s. . if they can't agree on a settlement soon, then when and if they do, all of us fans should boycott them. yea it will suck not having football but empty stadiums would hit them both where it hurts.

I got Roger's e-mail. I wrote him back and told him he, the owners and players are all greedy bastids.

Players walked away from the talks, the owners were atleast attempting new deals.

The players wanted this to go to court all along because they think it will force the owners to open the books. I have a funny feeling the players are going to take one on the chin through this whole process and really regret this decertification of the union.

The owners are "attempting" to take back ground from the last CBA. Who gives a **** if the players gave up first- they were smart enough to realize that the owners were not going to propose anything realistic.

No but I got an email about a pill that will improve my size AND girth so I'm pretty stoked.

Even the "Union" would admit the last deal heavily favoured the players and knew the owners would opt out. The owners continued to give new proposals, the players applied for de-certification before even seeing the last proposal. So it actually shows the players are the ones who never want to actually get a deal done, and like I stated before their gonna get screwed in the courts.

If you work for a publicly traded company then odds are the info already out there. You just have to do some research.

I'm all for decoupling health insurance so employeers don't need to provide it as a benefit. Even now, I can always opt out and get it for myself much like I would a car or bag of chips.

The NFL sucks.

Can't disagree. Though, its not as bad as soccer, golf, or the NBA.
