Did anyone notice this? CC was catching almost all the balls thrown at him by Sage. Meanwhile he can't catch 2 in a row from Frerotte it seems. Does Sage just throw it better? Do these 2 have a better sense of timing? I defer to the experts.

REally? what happened to the dislocated finger theory? he he.

I think Sage looks for Chambers more, hence Chambers has to be ready. I think That's Chambers biggest problem. He loses focus during games. But if he thinks anytime there is a pass play with Sage playing, I may get the ball, he stays focused.

There seems to be a chemistry between Sage and Chambers that every other Dolphins QB has lacked.

On a slightly different note; What amazes me about Sage is his ability to come into a game without much practice and have great game performances but not do so well when he has taken snaps as the starting QB. I'm wondering if it has something to do with Sage not having the time to over-analyze things. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Yeah, CC is Sage's main guy. He will look for him a ton. And I don't think Gus threw more than 3 spirols yesterday beacuse of that finger. That will also make the receivers drop balls.

It is simply chemistry between the QB and wide reciever...you would think Gus would try to develop that with chambers...

1- Sage looks for chambers more

2- Frerotte puts more heat on the ball, its a harder pass to catch

3- Sage throws more high balls, Frerotte throws more low balls

That could have a lot to do with it, he really doesnt have time to worry when they just throw him in

But also it could have been him wanting to make up for that game in cleveland and gain some of the teams confidence back

I wonder if Chambers will pull a T.O. and start bad-mouthing Gus.....lol

and big DAN MARINO THROWS THE PERFECT BALL .

can i have a " amen "

SAGE IS THE CLOSEST THING TO MARINO AT QB THAT THE FINS WILL HAVE FOR A LONG WHILE.

SAGE CAN !
SAGE? WILL !
SO WHERE THE HELL IS THE STATUE OF SAGE AT.

Saban said yesterday that the 2 minute drill was all Sage ran and that it cut way down on the things he had to do. He said, also, that Sage went into the Cleveland game with where he wanted to go with the ball in his mind before the snap rather than reading and taking what the D was giving him. He said Sage checked down a few times yesterday.

Well i think this will be the biggest myth in dolphins history beceaus i dont know if he has had a fair chance to start because 1 game really isnt a fair shot to learn the position ,but oh well .

Sage pretty much had no choice but to throw the ball to Chambers. McMichael was getting smothered and Gilmore wasn't catching anything to save his own life. Welker caught a couple and then dropped that one on the goal line.

Remember, Chambers did drop that 30 yarder from Sage around the 50. Of course, he made up for it by taking that 50 yarder a couple plays later.

Well I'm wondering why Sage isn't in every week I mean he seems to play better than Ferrote (sp?)
